Il gatto del titolo è poco più che una comparsa nelle prime due storie delle tre che compongono il film. Eccole in fila: una terapia antifumo che si trasforma in incubo per il paziente e la sua famiglia; una sadica prova d'audacia imposta da un vecchio miliardario all'amante di sua moglie: in palio, a suo dire, la moglie stessa; nella terza fa invece la parte del leone, salvando prima la propria pelle, poi la padroncina dai mostri che la assillano.
