Nessuno ha mai voluto abitare quella casa dove qualche anno prima una famiglia era stata sterminata a fucilate da un ragazzo che diceva di aver sentito una voce. Ma un giorno la famiglia Lutz si trasferisce e va a vivere proprio lì con i tre figli piccoli. Inutilmente un sacerdote li mette in guardia sui pericoli che la casa sia posseduta dalle forze del male.
