Durante l'ultima guerra, alcuni prigionieri alleati si sono cosi' specializzati nelle fughe dai lager da costringere i tedeschi a concentrarli in un campo speciale. Sarà la volta in cui i prigionieri organizzano un'evasione in massa, attraverso gallerie sotterranee. Il loro obiettivo è pertanto quello di costringere i tedeschi a richiamare truppe dal fronte per impegnarle nella caccia ai fuggiaschi. Dopo alterne vicende l'impresa viene tentata.
