Tre amici, due ragazzi e una ragazza, si dividono un appartamento a Glasgow. Quando decidono di cercare un quarto coinquilino vanno molto per il sottile. Dopo aver scartato e sbeffeggiato vari candidati, scelgono un uomo apparentemente senza segreti. Presto però il nuovo arrivato viene trovato morto, proprio in camera sua. Qui i tre scoprono anche una valigia contenente molto denaro. I pregi dell'humour macabro non mancano, e la bravura degli attori sopravanza le lacune e qualche incongruenza nello script.
