Una pattuglia di alieni dimentica nel deserto della California una potente arma laser, dopo averne giustiziato il proprietario. Il giovane Billy Duncan scopre l'arma e ben presto la sua mente diventa sempre più maligna, provocando morte e distruzione e vendicandosi di tutti coloro che lo bullizzavano. Mentre l'adolescente diventa sempre più potente e letale, spetta alle autorità locali e agli alieni fermarlo.
