Sul finire dell'Ottocento, durante le notti al chiaro di luna una misteriosa creatura terrorizza gli abitanti di un piccolo villaggio dell'Europa orientale. Daniel (Guy Wilson), un giovane del luogo, convince una squadra di qualificati cacciatori di lupi mannari a unirsi alla loro missione di caccia. Quando però le vittime degli attacchi si trasformano a loro volta in bestie feroci, Daniel comincia a temere che il pericolo possa nascondersi in qualcuno molto più vicino di quanto si pensi.
