Po è un pasciuto panda con la passione del kung fu, ma in realtà di professione cameriere nel Noodle Shop di proprietà del padre. Durante i festeggiamenti paesani, viene identificato da un vecchio maestro di arti marziali come il prescelto a diventare il “Guerriero Dragone”. Comincia per lui un durissimo apprendistato al fianco dei suoi eroi, che ora non lo sopportano. Ma dovrà sbrigarsi a imparare il kung fu perché una minaccia incombe sull’intera vallata.
