Il documentario è basato sulla confessione conclusiva di Adolf Eichmann, rilasciata, al capitano Avner Less, prima della sua esecuzione avvenuta in Israele nel maggio del 1962. Catturato dai servizi segreti israeliani durante un'operazione in Argentina, 15 anni dopo la fine della guerra, Eichmann, il criminale più ricercato al mondo, doveva essere spazzato via e la verità finalmente rivelata. La storia riporta che furono due le persone a tirare contemporaneamente la corda, in maniera tale che non si sapesse con certezza chi sia stato il boia di quella che viene segnalata come l'unica esecuzione capitale civile nella storia di Israele.
