Un gruppo di studenti attivisti parte da New York per raggiungere l'Amazzonia e condurre sul luogo la battaglia per proteggere una tribù di indios che rischia l'estinzione. Nella giungla, però, il gruppo si ritroverà ad essere ostaggio degli stessi indigeni che ha provveduto a mettere in salvo.
