Un gruppo di piccoli criminali viene assunto da un misterioso soggetto per recuperare un raro pezzo di found footage, custodito all'interno di una casa fatiscente al centro di una zona isolata. Appena arrivati sul luogo, tutti si rendono conto che il compito non è così semplice come pensavano quando si ritrovano davanti a un cadavere attorniato da pile di videocassette, contenenti registrazioni sempre più raccapriccianti e diversissime tra loro.
