Blue Eye Samurai è una serie animata franco-statunitense del 2023 creata e scritta da Michael Green e Amber Noizumi, animata dalla società francese Blue Spirit.
Siamo nel Giappone del 17esimo secolo e nel paese, chiuso al resto del mondo, fioriva il mercato nero. Mizu vuole vendicarsi del padre, uno dei quattro uomini occidentali presenti nell'arcipelago, tuttavia la vendetta non è cosa da donne. Mizu deve quindi nascondere il suo genere e i suoi occhi blu. A lei si uniscono Ringo, un cuoco di soba che sogna in grande; Taigen, un samurai esagerato con cui Mizu giunge a una tregua, e la Principessa Akemi, promessa sposa di Taigen la cui vita è l'opposto di quella della protagonista.
